The Newman Library at Virginia Tech presents the Destination Areas Global Speaker Series and Open Access Week event "Open Access Methods" on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the 1st Floor Newman Library Multipurpose Room.
What is reproducible research? Why is it important? How does it address serious problems?
Open doors for research and creativity with DAGSS, an open access week event by the University Libraries. This iteration welcomes Dr. Lorena Barba, George Washington University professor and engineer. She will take us through her accomplishments and how open access information is crucial to furthering research worldwide.
Come to the three open events and network with globally celebrated researchers, learn about the current state of research, and find out how you can be a part of the open access solution to digital information.
