The Radford University Military Resource Center presents their 2017 Veterans Day Ceremony at Radford University on Friday, November 10, 2017 inside the Bonnie Auditorium.
Join the Military Resource Center for their annual Veterans Day Ceremony.
Schedule of Events:
• 10:00 am: Flag Presentation (Radford University ROTC)
• 10:10 am: Introduction and Welcome, Dr. William R. Kennan, Military Resource Center Director
• 10:15 am: Mr. Cullen Chavis, Reflection on the birthday of the Marine Corps
• Ms. Danielle Rock, Military Resource Center and Army Reserve
• Mr. Richard Alvarez, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Finance and Administration for Radford University, introduced by Mr. Michael Grigsby
• 10:30 am: Delegate Rush introduced by Ms. Samantha Simmons
• 10:50 am: Laying of the wreath celebrating the contributions of Veterans to our learning community by Zeta Tau Alpha sorority
• 11:00 am: Conclude, Dr. William R. Kennan, Military Resource Center Director
Prior to the ceremony in the Bonnie Auditorium, all veteran faculty, staff, and students, and active duty military members of the Radford University community are invited to a reception in the McConnell Library from 8:30-9:30 am.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
