Blacksburg High School Students present the Hope to Walk Walk-a-Thon on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Blacksburg High School Outdoor Track.

The Hope to Walk Walk-a-Thon is a charity event being held to benefit Hope to Walk, a charity organization that makes prosthetic legs for people in third world countries who can't afford to buy them.

We are Nathan, Joel, and Howard, and we are sophomores at Blacksburg High School. As part of our English class, we're to do something to benefit people who's rights are being violated.

The event is free, but we ask that you please consider a donation to Hope to Walk. You can either ask friends and family to pledge a certain amount of money per lap, or donate a flat amount. Any donation helps, and is going to a great cause.
