UPDATE: Due to the expected inclement weather, Montgomery County Public Schools have cancelled all activities for Saturday so tthe Austin Cloyd Hoop Fest has been cancelled for Saturday.

The Blacksburg High School Girl's Basketball Team presents the 11th Annual Austin Cloyd Memorial Scholarship Hoop Fest on Friday, December 8, 2017 and Saturday, December 9, 2017.

Saturday Schedule of Games:
• 11:00 am: Blacksburg vs. Carroll County (JV game)
• 12:30 pm: Blacksburg vs. Carroll County
• 2:15 pm: Radford vs Mt. Mission School (JV game)
• 4:00 pm: Radford vs. Princeton (West Virginia)

This is a scholarship and charity event in memory of 2006 Blacksburg High graduate Austin Cloyd. Austin's life was cut short in the Virginia Tech shootings on April 16, 2007. Your attendance helps support up to six scholarships of $500.00 for post high school education. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need. To date over $15,000.00 has been awarded to nearly 30 graduating seniors.

In addition to the full line-up of basketball games, we are having a Silent Auction and Bake Sale during the tournament to raise funds for Bruins for Burdette. Eric Burdette is a Radford High School senior who was diagnosed with cancer in September. These funds will help the family with their travel and medical expenses.

Ticket prices are $8.00 a day and $13.00 for access to the entire two day tournament.

Whether you can attend the games or not, please come out to bid on our Silent Auction items. The tables are located by the concession stand in the athletic wing of Blacksburg High School. There's a multitude of gift cards including Outback, Mellow Mushroom and we have a $150.00 dollar ring from a local jeweler and much more!
