The Meadowbrook Public Library presents the program: "So, You Want To Be A Beekeeper?" on Sunday, January 21, 2018.
The New River Valley Beekeepers Association presents a free workshop to answer all of your beekeeping questions. Now is the time to start if you're interested for 2018.
The workshop will address all aspects of getting started in beekeeping including costs, equipment needed, time required, procedures for acquiring and keeping bees, expectations for honey harvest, etc.
Presenters will be Lisa and Pat Bower.
No sign-up or pre-registration required.
