The Meadowbrook Public Library and Montgomery County Parks and Recreation presents "Love in the Mountains: Songs and Confections" on Monday, February 12, 2018.

Join musician and Appalachian literature instructor Tim Thornton and learn a bit about legends and folklore of love that inspired ballads and songs in the Appalachian Mountains. Tim will entertain us on the dulcimer, banjo and guitar with songs of love, courtship, marriage and their complications.

Bring your favorite confection to share with the group.
