Description:
Tri-Star Roanoke presents the 3rd Annual Star City Strongman on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Brickhouse Crossfit in Roanoke, VA.

Watch male and female regional athletes including athletes from the New River Valley and Roanoke Valley compete in amazing feats of strength in this level 1 NAS event.

The events include:
• Log Press
• Axle Deadlift
• Sandbag Load and Sled Drag
• Farmers Carry to Keg Carry and Load Over Bar for Reps
• Stone of Steel over Bar for Reps

This show does have novice classes for those interested in trying the sport of Strongman for the first time.

There will be plenty of food and beverage options in the area, including The French German and Grandpa Ike's Mini Donuts on-site. A growing number of vendors will be available with product samples and sales.

There is a $5.00 cash at the door spectator fee. Additional donations are welcome.

All donations and proceeds from this event go to the local Angels of Assisi.

Angels of Assisi seeks to change the traditional definition of an animal shelter by offering services and programs to benefit the community, the people that live there, and the pets they love. The organization operates the largest private animal shelter in the Roanoke Valley, as well as a low cost Community Pet Clinic and farm animal sanctuary.
