The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents "Gardening in the South" with Mark Weathington on Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Gardening doesn't have to be difficult, despite what the experts might tell you. Join NC State's JC Raulston Arboretum director Mark Weathington, author of "Gardening in the South, The Complete Homeowner's Guide", for fun-filled tips and tricks to turn you into a better gardener.

Mark Weathington's more than 20 years of experience gardening in the south including serving as a horticulturist for the Atlanta Botanical Garden and director of horticulture for the Norfolk Botanical Garden.

The program will be followed by a book sale and signing.

The cost is $10.00 for the general public and $5.00 for Friends of the Garden members.
