Description:
VT Engage presents Habitat for Humanity Women's Build on Saturday, March 23, 2018 meeting at New Hall West, Suite 110 on the campus of Virginia Tech before departure.

Join VT Engage as we reflect on the obstacles women face in home ownership while assisting in a home build in the Roanoke Valley. This program provides participants the opportunity to learn new skills or add to their already diverse tool belt through women helping other women. Volunteers will assist with construction tasks towards building a new home.

No experience is necessary and all folks are welcome.

All Get on the Bus trips are offered on a first come, first served basis. Transportation will be provided by VT Engage from campus to the service site.

This event is part of Women’s Month at Virginia Tech. While this service trip focuses women’s issues as they relate to housing, we are hosting an inclusive event that is open to anyone who is interested in attending.
