The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce presents the Fifth Annual Women's Leadership Conference on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center.

Schedule:
• 8:00 am: Networking Breakfast
• 9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Programming and Lunch
• 5:00 pm: Networking Reception

This year’s theme is "Women: First and Foremost" and will feature four keynote speakers and eight breakout session speakers who are first or foremost leaders in their field.

The Chamber’s 2018 keynote speakers are:
• Louise Baker, Real Estate Agent with The Louise Baker Team
• Danielle Bartelstein, Senior Director of Football Operations at Virginia Tech
• Nikki Giovanni, Poet and Virginia Tech Distinguished Professor
• Susan K. Still, President and CEO of HomeTown Bank

Attendees will have the opportunity to attend two of eight breakout sessions in the afternoon. Topics will range from the importance of setting boundaries to weathering career and life changes. The Chamber will also host a silent auction during the conference with a variety of items available for bidding.

In 2017, the Chamber began raising funds to support women who have experienced some additional challenges and are under-represented in Montgomery County. The Chamber understands the importance of professional development and representation. In honor of 2017 Women’s Leadership Conference speaker and Secretary of Education, Dr. Dietra Trent, the Chamber is pleased to provide a scholarship in her name.

Women of color who are interested in attending the Women’s Leadership Conference and would like to apply for the Dr. Dietra Trent scholarship, should contact marketing@montgomerycc.org for the brief application.

The ticket price for members is $99.00 and $149.00 for non-members.
