The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the New Music Ensemble concert "Coming Together" on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Recital Salon inside the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.
The Virginia Tech New Music Ensemble, under the artistic direction of Kyle Hutchins, will perform the world premiere of "GroupThink" by Virginia Tech students Ezra Clark and D.J. Malinowski as well as a performance of Frederic Rzewski's monumental work "Coming Together" with guest narrator Alan Weinstein, Pauline Olivero's saxophone quartet Saxual Orientation, and solo performances of Chaya Czernowin's "Adiantum Capillus-Veneris I" with Cassandra Hanson and Vinko Globokar's "?Corporel" with D.J. Malinowski.
Admission is free and no ticket is required.
