Wildwood Farms General Store presents Brien Fain Day: Music and Fundraiser on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
Please come out and enjoy some great music and donate to help Brien Fain with his medical expenses after a prolonged illness.
Brien Fain is a native of Patrick County, Virginia and is known and respected for his rock solid clawhammer banjo style that won him many prizes and awards over the past several years as festivals like Clifftop and Galax. He is especially known in the New River Valley as being a part of the Jug Busters nation and is featured on one of their CD's "Live at the Rex". He is also a very special person and a wonderful friend of ours.
We are asking musicians and singers of bluegrass and old time music to stop by and play or sing a song for Brien. There will be music on our stage for this whole epic music event so come and enjoy!
In addition there will be a silent auction, 50/50 and raffle with great prizes including a banjo, fiddle and tickets to the upcoming 8th Annual Chantilly Farm Bluegrass & BBQ Festival at the end of May. Raffle tickets can be purchased at Wildwood Farms General Store until and on the day of the event.
