RunAbout Sports presents the 2018 Downtown Sundown 5K® on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in downtown Blacksburg, VA as part of the Summer Solstice Festival.

Schedule:
• 3:00-8:00 pm: Packet Pickup at Summer Solstice
• 8:00 pm: Registration Deadline
• 8:30 pm: Race starts
• ~9:30 pm: Awards Ceremony

Run the streets and trails of Blacksburg at sunset! The Downtown Sundown 5k® starts and finishes on Draper Road in the heart of the Summer Solstice Street Festival featuring crafts, live music, food, drink, and more.

The 5K course loops from downtown through Blacksburg on roads and paved footpaths. All miles will be marked. Water will be available.

Participants can register online, in person at RunAbout Sports or on race day. Race day registration will take place on the lawn of the Alexander Black House from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Race shirts are guaranteed to all who register before June 4, 2018. Extra shirts will be printed to the best of our abilities and calculations, but due to printing time constraints we can only guarantee a shirt to those who register before the deadline.

Note: All runners must wear reflective clothing and carry a glowstick or LED light.
