The Mountain Valley Charitable Foundation presents the May and 2018 Kickoff of the OldTown Nights concert series featuring the bands Cimarron and Fuzzy Logic on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Old Town Fields in Shawsville, VA.

Join us for live music, food and fun for your entire family! The monthly event will include local food trucks, craft beer and a wonderful space for the kids to run and play.

Fuzzy Logic brings together four talented players with varied backgrounds in music that blend together to create a high energy vocal filled sound unlike any other in Southwest Virginia.

Having influences ranging from The Eagles to Metallica to Keith Urban, Fuzzy Logic can bring a little of anything and everything to any event. More the just a variety band, Fuzzy Logic is groovalistic funky, country-fried rock with soul!

Cimmaron has entertained and offered listeners country music with an edge doing it their way, with a combination of kickin' traditional, outlaw rockin' country music that reflects the varied backgrounds of the band members. This enduringly great institution has been running up and down the highways and byways of America for nearly three decades, entertaining everywhere from state fairs to theme parks, from Disney World nightclubs to backwoods roadhouses, from arts festivals to Las Vegas casinos, from the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry to the honky-tonks of Texas. The band has deep-set roots in these smoke filled clubs and thrives on the response of a rowdy, excited live audience large or small. Cimmaron’s high energy, intense musicality, flawless harmony singing and distinctive double-drumming attack have made it a band with few peers in its industry.

Cimmaron’s members have been featured on dozens of national TV shows. The band regularly earns rave reviews in the pages of Billboard, Music Row, Amusement Business and other top periodicals. Cimmaron videos such as “Stone Country,” “Blacktop Road” and “Can’t You Just Stay Gone” have earned the band notoriety on country’s cable-video channels, and such singles as “Almost,” “Long Ride Back” and “What Do You Wear with a Broken Heart” have brought the band radio exposure as well.

Cimmaron has appeared on national television shows such as TNN's Music City Tonight, Prime Time Country, Miller & Company, Video PM, and Video AM. Their videos played on TNN & CMT and won the Golden Music Award in 1995 for Video of the Year and Band of theYear. Cimmaron is a favorite of nationally recognized music critic, Robert K. Ormann, and were guests on his syndicated radio show on WSM.

Cimmaron's inspiration comes from a quote from the original outlaw, the late Waylon Jennings, "Everyone is entitled to do it their way just once".

OldTown Third Thursdays will be held every Thursday from May through October.
