Description:
The Raymond F. Ratcliffe Memorial Transportation Museum presents 2018 Summer Camp At The Museum for Grades K-3 starting on Monday, June 4, 2018 through Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm daily.

This will be our 5th year in hosting summer camps for the youth in our area. We have attempted to tailor the program to Standards of Learning (SOL) and this year promises to include more educational and fun hands-on activities.

The camp is well supervised and we encourage parents, grandparent’s older siblings to come along to support your camper and enjoy the SOL experience.
We will have many activities this year some of which will include trips away from the museum by Pulaski County School Bus and their professional drivers.

Camps at the Ratcliffe is divided up into two sessions. Session One is for Kindergarten to 3rd grade and starts Monday, June 4th and ends Wednesday. June 6th. Session Two is for 4th to 6th grades and starts Monday, June 11th and ends Wednesday, June 13th. On June 13th, both camps will be combined for an extra special field trip to Claytor Lake State Park. This field trip is an educational trip and not a swimming experience.

Registration is on the first day of each camp session starting at 8:30 am before the camp gets underway at 9:00 am.

All camp sessions are free.

Our camp has grown in camper numbers each year and this year we are limiting enrollment to 50 campers each session.
