The 2018 Summer Arts Festival kicks off their 2018 Summer Arts Festival and Friday Night Out Concert Series with R&B band Sexual Chocolate on Friday, June 1, 2018 on the Henderson Lawn.
Based in Roanoke, Virginia, Sexual Chocolate has electrified audiences across the area. All five members are some of the most accomplished musicians in the area, assuring that every show is presented with professionalism at its best, and guarantees that both the band and the audience will enjoy themselves.
Don’t let the name scare you, this band will be a treat for your ears, playing Motown, soul, R&B, and the funk classics you’ve grown to know and love throughout the years.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, picnics, and families for a warm summer evening of music. All are welcome!
With the joint efforts of Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts and the Town of Blacksburg, the 2018 Summer Arts Festival that features live music, art exhibits, live theatre events, classic movies and summer festivals in downtown Blacksburg, VA. This summer marks the 27th year of this cultural and entertaining festival for the Virginia Tech Campus and the New River Valley.
Admission to all events is free.
In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside to the Old Dominion Ballroom located at the Squires Student Center.
Henderson Lawn is located at the corner of Main Street and College Avenue in downtown Blacksburg, VA.
