Blacksburg Comedy Club presents the 2018 Roast Battle Championship featuring comedians Kat Harvey vs. Johnny Camacho on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Top Of The Stairs.

Kat Harvey is a comedian from Southwest Virginia.

Johnny Camacho is a Roanoke-based comic actor and writer, originally from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. In the sixth grade, he got the title role in a stage production of Winnie the Pooh. He didn't learn any of his lines. It was his first improv performance.

A theatre arts major, Johnny graduated from Roanoke College in 2012 with academic distinction and departmental honors. In 2013, he attended the prestigious Sewanee Writer's Conference to workshop an original play under Daisy Foote and Dan O'Brien. He later moved to Brooklyn, New York performing comedy and improv.

He's performed stand-up and improv at some of New York's most recognizable comedy houses including Caroline's on Broadway, the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, The PIT, and Magnet. Now he hosts and performs shows around Southwest Virginia.

Along with the Roast Battle Championship, enjoy headliner (and regular host) Robbie Hockett headlining, a local comic showcase including the return of Kartik Rustagi, Beau Nickerson, Jake Snyder, Bryan Keele, Kristina Montuori, Traci Roberts and Alicia Hollingsworth and Justin Wyer and guest host Nick Guacheta.

Robert Hockett is not only a Blacksburg bartender, but he's also a comedian.

Comedy Club features national and local comedians as well as a host who will kick the show off and set the mood for a night of laughs.
