Description:
The Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech presents a Draped Cement Workshop and Fundraiser on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Instructor Diane Relf will guide participants on how to make some very cool draped cement containers. Participants will make several containers of their own, to pick up in about four days to a week after they have cured.

The cost is $30.00 for the general public and $25.00 for Friends of the Garden Members. The fee includes all supplies needed and use of forms to shape containers.

The workshop will meet from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm with a break for lunch. Participants should bring a light lunch and Diane will provide a salad and biscotti.

The workshop will be held at Diane’s home in Christiansburg and is limited to seven participants. Participants must pre-register by Monday July 16th by contacting Stephanie at vtgarden@vt.edu or 540-231-5970.

All proceeds go towards Simply Elemental, the Hahn Garden's outdoor summer art show.
