Cancer Kids and Christmas presents the 2018 Cancer Kids and Christmas Fun Day and Car Show on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Narrows Community Center, the former Narrows Annex, and the Narrows football Field.

Enjoy a day of fun for all ages featuring water balloon activities including the area's first water balloon dunking booth, water balloon throw and catch, water balloon pinata, water balloon batting practice, Car Show, hot dog dinner, bake sale, bouncy house, vendors, yard sales, super raffle tickets and more.

The Car Show will be held from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm and will be lined up behind the football field's visitor bleachers. Entry to the Car Show is free however competitors can make donations to Cancer Kids and Christmas. There will be a People's Choice Trophy where spectators will pick the winner.

Cancer Kids and Christmas is a local organization that has helped more than 60 families who are battling cancer have a better Christmas since 2012 raising over $165,000. 100% of the proceeds and donations are donated to the families each year.

Cancer, Kids, and Christmas was founded in 2012 by Travis Sparks after his own battle with cancer and seeing firsthand the strain it put on his own family. He saw that without the help of family and friends, his immediate family may have felt the financial strains to the point of bankruptcy. That would have meant that there would certainly have been no Christmas that year.

We provide our cancer families with the majority of all monies raised through our events. With zero dollars going to administrative fees, our Board of Directors are all serving (donating their time) with no compensation from the organization.
