Description:
Blue Ridge Orienteering Club presents Orienteering in Heritage Park on Thursday, August 9, 2018 starting and ending at Rising Silo Farm Brewery which is across the street from Heritage Park in Blacksburg, VA.

Come out and see how much fun orienteering is! It's like a mini treasure hunt. All levels are welcome with courses for both beginners and intermediate orienteerers.

Participants can start anytime between 5:00-7:00 pm. The beginner course course takes about 30-40 minutes and the advanced course is a little bit longer.

No experience necessary. We can provide basic instruction and a loaner compasses will be available if you need it.

A $5.00 donation per map is appreciated to help cover the printing and other costs.
