Historic Smithfield Plantation presents The Old Pros Big Band Orchestra in concert on Sunday, September 9, 2018.

Join us for a fun filled evening of swing dancing and lively music courtesy of The Old Pros Big Band Orchestra.

The Old Pros Big Band is an all-volunteer band based in the New River Valley in southwest Virginia. Founded in 1973, the band specializes in music of the big band era and performs concerts, dance club events, receptions, and fund raisers on a regular basis across Southwest Virginia.

Today membership includes professionals, small business owners, teachers, retirees, and students. Their ages and musical backgrounds are as varied as their professions.
