Description:
The Hokie Village Fan Festival will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 before the Notre Dame vs. Virginia Tech football game at the turf soccer practice field beside Thompson Field and across from Lane Stadium.

The Hokie Village is a fan and family-friendly festival that will give fans the opportunity to come to Blacksburg on home game days and provide them with free pregame entertainment. Hokie Village features inflatables, Kubota Kickoff Show broadcast live starting 90 minutes before kickoff, tailgating games, concessions, music and appearances by Virginia Tech student-athletes including the Spirit Squads and HokieBird.

Special Saturday Activities & Promotions:
• First 2,500 fans will receive a maroon and orange Beat Notre Dame button
• Food Trucks in attendance: Manns Sausage, Saucy Swine Os, Grandpa Ikes Donuts
• Kids activities: Inflatables, Face painters and Caricature Artist
• Yard Games: Corn hole, Jenga, Kan Jam, Connect 4
• The official Virginia Tech bookstore will be onsite selling the stripe Lane shirts
• Skipper, the Virginia Tech cannon, will be at Hokie Village firing at various times
• The Virginia Techniques out of Christiansburg will perform at the start of Hokie Village
• The College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy will be on site

The Village will be held on the turf soccer practice field and can be accessed by both the Beamer Way gate entrance and the Thompson Field entrance.

The Hokie Village will open 3.5 hours before kickoff and stays open up to 45 minutes before game time.
