The Jessie Peterman Library hosts a Mini Bug Fest on Saturday, October 6, 2018.
Get ready for Hokie BugFest 2018! Join us to experience a sampling of the buggy fun you can expect at Virginia Tech’s full-day festival.
Learn about the exciting world of insects and their arthropod friends from Virginia Tech graduate student mentors and staff. Meet and hold some of the V.I.B.’s (Very Important Bugs) from Virginia Tech’s Bug Zoo. Get creative with a bug-inspired craft that will jump-start your costume for the Hokie BugFest parade.
You will even have a chance to peek through a microscope and zoom in on the fangs of a tarantula or the eyes of a praying mantis!
Admission is free and all are welcome.
