Celebrate Montgomery County Public Schools at Montgomery County Education Association's (MCEA) "Celebration of Education" event on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Kipps Elementary School in Blacksburg.

The Montgomery County Education Association will host its annual celebration of public education. There will be speakers, musical performances by Montgomery County Public School students including Auburn High School's rock band Wicked Phat and community informational tents.

The theme for the day will be to celebrate the high quality of education offered in Montgomery County. Students work will be displayed throughout the event site and various performances will be given by students.

The MCEA advocates for quality teaching, increasing student achievement through common sense approaches, and making schools safe and positive places to learn.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
