Blacksburg High School presents their Concert and Symphonic Bands in concert on Monday, November 12, 2018.
Join us for an evening of music featuring our Concert and Symphonic Bands.
Our Symphonic Band has been invited to perform at the VA Music Educators Conference on November 15th and this is a very high honor. This is their preview concert as they will be performing their entire concert program for the VAMEA Conference.
The concert also features guest conductors Harry Farmer from Blacksburg Middle School, Reginald Purvis retired director from George Washington High School in Danville and Dr. Johnathan Caldwell from Virginia Tech. Featured soloists are Dr. Jason Crafton from Virginia Tech and Blacksburg High's own Emma Nichols.
