Sigma Alpha at Virginia Tech presents their Chili Cook-Off on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Blacksburg Community Center.
Join us for Sigma Alpha’s first ever chili cook off! All proceeds will benefit Feeding America Southwest Virginia. Attendees are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for donation for Feeding America Southwest Virginia.
Team entry is $35.00 and $2.00 entry fee for tasters.
Winners will receive a portion of the proceeds back to their own philanthropy.
The Pi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Sorority at Virginia Tech is a professional sorority organized to foster the study of agriculture among women by promoting scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. The sorority was first started at the Ohio State University in 1978, and the Pi Chapter was chartered at Virginia Tech in 1992.
The objective of Sigma Alpha is to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them. It is the purpose of the members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, and to further the development of excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.
