The Jessie Peterman Library presents the program "Draw History Into Our Future: An Hour of Storytelling & Art with Christiansburg Institute" on Saturday, December 8, 2018.

Do you love perking up your ears for a good story and creating imaginative art? Then we have the perfect library event for you.

Join Christiansburg Institute at Jessie Peterman Public Library for an hour and a half of tales from the days when the school was in operation directly from our Honored Alumni. We'll also have games, some fun, interactive learning about CI's history and current projects, and then time to create your own original artwork reimagining the last standing CI building.

You can even submit your artwork and application form right there to be entered into our t-shirt design contest. How fun would it be to see your design on people's chests all over town!

This event is geared towards Kindergarten-6th kids with an adult in tow. Parents can submit designs too.
