The Blacksburg Children's Chorale holds their Newcomer Auditions on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Gilbert Linkous Elementary School in Blacksburg, VA.

Does your child love to sing? The Blacksburg Children's Chorale invites children and youth, age 8 and up, to join us in Blacksburg and Radford for our 14th season in 2019-20. We have many fun and exciting events planned for the upcoming season including holiday caroling, winter and spring concerts, singing the National Anthem at VT game(s), trip(s) and more!

The audition process is quick and easy and involves singing the song of your choice (unaccompanied), followed by some vocal exercises with the Director. After the audition your child will be placed in one of our performance groups (Preparatory Choirs, Camerata Choir, Performance Ensemble) based on age and skill level. Welcome letters with choir placements will be mailed in mid-to-late summer.

Newcomer auditions will be held on the following dates:

Blacksburg and Christiansburg:
- May 29 - Gilbert Linkous Elementary, Blacksburg
- May 30 - St. Michael Lutheran Church, Blacksburg
- May 31 - Music on Main (110 East Main Street), Christiansburg

Radford:
- May 29, 30, 31 - Radford University Covington Center, Room 107

NOTE: Financial assistance and scholarships are available; please don't let cost be a barrier to auditioning.
