Description:
The Raymond F. Ratcliffe Memorial Transportation Museum continues their Ratcliffe Museum Lessons and Legacies series with "Claytor Lake, Park & Dam" on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

The Ratcliffe Transportation Museum kicks off the summer season for the lake with talks on Claytor Lake from retired Pulaski County educator John Duncan who is an employee of the State Park and current AEP Engineering Technician, Jeff Worrell who currently serves as President of the Friends of the Ratcliffe.

Learn about the history of the dam that created Claytor Lake and how the State Park developed. You also may hear stories about a giant man eating fish and an underwater village. Spend part of Sunday afternoon with us and learn about one of Pulaski County’s most majestic attractions.

Displays at the Ratclife will feature postcards and pictures from Claytor Lake.
