Description:
The 35th Pearisburg Festival in the Park will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 and Saturday, June 15, 2019 on the grounds of the Pearisburg Community Center.

Friday Schedule:
• 6:00 pm: National Anthem from Cora Gnegy & Welcome Mayor Dickerson
• 6:15 pm: Abi Lester
• 6:30-10:00 pm: Rides Open
• 7:30 pm: Tommy Griffith
• 8:30 pm: Eddie & Sherry Richards

The Pearisburg Festival in the Park celebrates its 35th year bringing expanded and bigger carnival rides for all ages, live music and entertainment, more than 30 vendors and crafters, food, special activities, Tron Nation, car show and more. And, we are celebrating all weekend with an 80’s throwback theme. Gnarly!

For Friday night only, wristbands are available for unlimited riding from 6:30 pm until 10:00 pm. Wristbands can be purchased in advance at the Pearisburg Town Office for $15.00 or $18.00 at the gate. Kickoff ceremonies start at 6:00 pm followed by live gospel music performances on the main stage featuring Abi Lester, Tommy Griffith and Eddie and Sherry Richards.

There will be an 80's Youth and Adult Costume Contest on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Participants can sign-up online for the 80's Costume Contest at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe0s9I_wb2CfnTFe79LoBjg4zlIhvO_Sm8Vo7s3JYgrqFuzIw/viewform.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Chairs and blankets are welcome. On the front lawn guests can bring a chair or find a picnic table or hay bale to listen to the live musical performances.

The festival is rain or shine.
