Description:
The Town of Blacksburg and the Mount Tabor Ruritan Club present the 33rd Annual 4th of July Parade with the theme "Caring For The Land" on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in downtown Blacksburg, Virginia starting at 2:00 pm.

Enjoy floats, bicycles, wagons, marchers, walkers, antique and classic cars, race cars, horses, fire engines, scouts, bands, sports teams and more in the annual Blacksburg 4th of July Parade.

The parade route begins at the old Blacksburg Middle School property at the corner of Eheart and South Main Streets and continues along Main Street ending at Alumni Mall near Virginia Tech's Drillfield.

The theme of the 2019 parade is "Caring For The Land". Trophies will be given out for the best theme representation, best youth parade entry and best overall parade entry.

The parade starts at 2:00 pm and the line-up begins at 1:30 pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Immediately after the parade, enjoy the free 4th of July movie "Over the Hedge" inside The Lyric Theatre starting around 3:00 pm. All are welcome. For more information, visit: http://www.nextthreedays.com/FeaturedEventDetails.cfm?E=515329.
