Join the Ratcliffe Museum for their next "Lessons and Legacies Series" and learn more about the Frontier Forts of Southwest Virginia. New museum coordinator and local historian, April Martin Danner, will present the talk.

Numerous forts were constructed in the New River Valley and Clinch River Valley from the French and Indian War through the American Revolution. The presentation will provide an overview of the forts and their service in the Colonial Wars and the American Revolution.
