The Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents Ricky Cox performing "Traveling the Road through Song" on Saturday, July 27, 2019 as part of Mary Draper Ingles Remembrance Day 2019.
Local singer and folklorist Ricky Cox will present “Traveling the Road through Song" which will celebrate Mary Draper Ingles and her journey out of captivity. Ricky teaches in the Appalachian Studies Program at Radford University.
There also will be a display titled "Ingles Ferry to Newbern". A special pamphlet will be available in the museum shop highlighting the connections.
Donations will be accepted.
