The Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT) and the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech presents "Spatial Audio 101" on Friday, August 9, 2019 as part of Cube Fest 2019 which starts on Thursday, August 8, 2019 through Sunday, August 11, 2019.

Cube Fest is an annual spatial music festival that brings together a group of international music and audio technology experts, computer engineers, musicians, and composers who will present performances of original compositions created for the Cube and preexisting works.
Spatial Audio 101 Description:
In this family-friendly workshop, learn about the basics of spatialized audio and what to listen for in the Cube with demonstrations of multi-channel audio and brief technical descriptions of the Cube’s 140-channel high-density loudspeaker array.
Admission is free however due to limited room, reserved tickets are encouraged.
