Science on Tap - New River Valley presents "Water, What Are We Drinking?" on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Rising Silo Brewery in Blacksburg, VA.

Award-winning speaker and social scientist Maddy Grupper discusses how we think about water through her research on trust. We'll kick things off with an arts-and-crafts activity to get us thinking about what goes on in our heads when building and experiencing trust.

Admission is free and open to the public. Food and drink are on your own.

Science On Tap New River Valley community celebrates scientific thought and explores new discoveries through monthly events with a featured researcher. We kick off the event with games, comedy, or other fun things. Then, an invited guest researcher demos their research. And then we'll discuss, ask questions, learn together, and mingle.
