As part of Blacksburg Sustainability Week 2019, join the Active Commute Celebration at the Squires Student Center Plaza on the campus of Virginia Tech on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

Do you bike, walk or take the bus to work or school? Whether you’re a veteran active commuter, a beginner, or just want to learn about your options, come celebrate active commuting with us on Thursday morning.

Enjoy free coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries! Free helmets will also be given away until they run out courtesy of the Gregory Weiner Foundation.

Drop in anytime, we’ll be there until 1:00 pm.

The event is kid and family friendly and you don't have to be a student or Virginia Tech staff to attend. The celebration is open to all.

Blacksburg Sustainability Week, a collaboration between Sustainable Blacksburg, the Town of Blacksburg and Virginia Tech is celebrating its 13th year in 2019.
