As part of Blacksburg Sustainability Week 2019, Sustainable Blacksburg presents "Lightning Talks" on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Alexander Black House & Cultural Center.
This is not a boring lecture! The Sustainability Week Team is bringing you 10 great speakers in rapid fire format who will be presenting on their environmental and sustainability topic of expertise or passion.
Topics include: Non Point Source Pollution; Invasive Plants; Homefield Farm (VT farm-to dining hall program); Food Waste; Campus Kitchen; Community Supported Agriculture; Small Living; The Economic Model for Conservation; NRV Homegrown (supporting local business).
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Blacksburg Sustainability Week, a collaboration between Sustainable Blacksburg, the Town of Blacksburg and Virginia Tech is celebrating its 13th year in 2019.
