The Christiansburg Department of Parks & Rec presents the 2019 Tony L. Huddleston Trout Rodeo on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Izaak Walton Facility.
Schedule:
• 12:00-2:00 pm: Registration
• 2:00-4:00 pm: Fishing
• 4:00 pm: Awards and Giveaways
Join us and test your child’s fishing ability along with giveaways, raffles, prizes and goodie bags for the first 100 participants. More than 300 fish will be stocked in the local Izaak Walton pond for the trout rodeo. Each child will be allowed to catch up to four fish in the two hour fishing time slot.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st-3rd place in each age bracket. A free hot dog lunch will also be provided.
The event is designed for ages 4-15 years old.
Admission is free.
The Izaak Walton Facility is located at Izaak Walton Lane in Christiansburg, VA off of Den Hill Road.
