Description:
The sisters of Sigma Alpha at Virginia Tech present their first annual Halloween Carnival on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Alphin-Stuart Arena.
Enjoy a fun-filled evening featuring fun carnival games with prizes for additional tickets, food, a photo booth and pumpkin painting! Costumes are encouraged. We hope you can join us in supporting professional young women pursing careers in agriculture.
Admission is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children.
The Pi Chapter of Sigma Alpha Sorority at Virginia Tech is a professional sorority organized to foster the study of agriculture among women by promoting scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship. The sorority was first started at the Ohio State University in 1978, and the Pi Chapter was chartered at Virginia Tech in 1992.
The objective of Sigma Alpha is to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them. It is the purpose of the members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, and to further the development of excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.
