Description:
The Floyd County Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States Post #7854 presents the 2019 Floyd Veterans Day Parade in downtown Floyd, VA on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

All are invited to enjoy and watch the festivities of the annual Veterans Day Parade. The parade starts at the Mayberry Funeral Home located at 367 South Locust Street and will proceed north on Route 8 then turn right at the stop light and end at the area of Wood Funeral Home along Barberry Road.

There will be two plaques awarded for the most patriotic and best decorated participants in the parade.

The Floyd County Woman’s Club will be hosting a USO type canteen providing hot coffee and hot cider for all parade participants. They will also have home baked goods such as brownies, cakes, cookies and more.

We are looking forward to having all of you join us in celebrating Veterans Day!
