Christiansburg High School Blue Demon Drama is proud to present the stage adaptation of "The Outsiders", the classic young adult novel by S. E. Hinton, with four performances starting on Friday, February 14, 2020 through Sunday, February 16, 2020 in the Christiansburg High Auditorium.

Performance Schedule:
• Friday, February 14th at 7:00 pm
• Saturday, February 15th at 2:00 pm
• Saturday, February 15th at 7:00 pm
• Sunday, February 16th at 2:00 pm

For over 50 years, the story of Ponyboy Curtis and his Greaser friends has captured the hearts of readers around the world. The Greasers, a group of teen friends from the wrong side of the tracks, are constantly at odds with the Socials, the wealthier kids.

When Greasers Ponyboy and Johnny find themselves in major trouble after a brawl that ends in the death of a Soc, they go into hiding. Their friend Dallas comes to their aid, but no one can predict the heroic and tragic events the boys soon face. While some Greasers strive to achieve redemption, others meet tragic ends.

Admission is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Group rates are available.

This show is directed by seniors Erin Birchfield and Jessica Kniskern.
