Description:
The Virginia Native Plant Society New River chapter's February meeting will be held in the Karr Activity Center located within the Warm Heath Village in Blacksburg, VA on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
The speaker will be one of our own members, Rebekah Paulson, who will explain how to create a certified wildlife habitat. As soon as she bought her new house in Blacksburg five years ago, she ripped out the invasive exotic plants and replaced them with native plants. She will also give details on the four requirements needed to certify her 1/5 acre by the National Wildlife Federation.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
