The Pulaski Yankees presents a Matinee Movie at the Park featuring "Captain America: Civil War" on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Calfee Park.

UPDATE: The time has been switched from gates open at 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm to try and help avoid the afternoon heat.

Our Independence Day celebration continues with a matinee showing of "Captain America: Civil War" presented by Shelor Motor Mile. The movie begins at 6:00 pm and will conclude in plenty of time for everyone to get to their evening fireworks shows.

The 2016 action, adventure comic-book film "Captain America: Civil War" stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and is rated PG-13.

Movie Synopsis: Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow and Hawkeye must pick a side.

Socially-distant seating will be available on the field with seating areas for groups of up to 10 marked off in 10 foot increments for fans to select on a first-come, first-serve basis. Blankets and beach towels will only be allowed for field seating. No chairs. All seating is general admission.

Snacks and concession items including beer and hard seltzer will be available from Calf-E's Kitchen beginning when gates open.

Admission is $2.00 per person with kids ages six and under free.

Tickets will be available at the gate only.
