Montgomery County Parks and Recreation presents the Rowdy Dawg Mountain Bike Race on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Pandapas Pond.

The Rowdy Dawg mountain bike race is a longstanding tradition in Southwest Virginia starting in 1988. The race is renowned for its grueling course and typically draws a large, diverse field of participants. Races take place on the Poverty Creek Trail System on Brush Mountain.

We offer four race categories:
• Beginner (10:00-10:30 am) - 5.5 miles
• Sport XC (10:00-10:30 am) - 13 miles
• Expert XC (9:45-10:00 am) - 18 miles
• XXC (8:00-8:15 am) - 34 miles

New this year: All races will be conducted with chip timing and start time slots. You may begin your race at any point during the time slot so that the start can be physically distanced and staggered.

Participants can begin their race anytime between their race categories start and end times.

Entry is $30.00 per rider for both pre-registration and day of registration.
