Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents 2020 Spirits Along the Wilderness Road Wagon Ride on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Enjoy an exciting and history filled family friendly ride back in time. History happened here and spirits appear each October to help us share their stories. A leisurely, 30-minute horse drawn wagon will transport participants back in time to the early days of Historic Newbern.

The spirits of Colonel James Patton, Colonel William Christian, Henry Hance, Jabin Alexander, Benjamin F. Wysor, Lt. Daniel Howe, Andrew Jackson, Letitia Floyd, Sarah Hance and so many others that once trod through the village of Newbern will be on hand that eve to share the rich history of the area.

Kids activities, fresh pressed cider and pear butter cookies will be offered before and after the ride in the log kitchen.

All aspects of the Spirits Along the Wilderness Road are family friendly and educational in purpose and content.

The cost is $10.00 per rider. Reservations and masks are required.

Wagon trips are limited to eight guests per trip and leave every thirty minutes.
