The Floyd Center for the Arts presents Afternoon Arts To-Go for children ages 6-12 every Tuesday starting on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 through Tuesday, February 23, 2021 with pick-up from 12:00-3:00 PM.

Enjoy the exciting new six-week take-out art project program designed for children ages 6-12. Participating children will pick up their all-supplies-included project kit at the Center each week. These fun art kits include projects in collage, faux stained-glass design, painting and weaving, to name a few.

Afternoon Arts To-Go projects are sure to spark imagination, offer a point to ponder, and to expose youngsters to the many benefits of making things with their own hands.

Note: Scissors or other common household tools aren't provided in the kit, but will be available upon request to children without access to these tools.

The cost for the kit is $3.00 per week or $15.00 for all six weeks of the kits.

Participants will be invited to share photos of completed projects with the Center for inclusion in a rotating slideshow on our website, allowing the young artists and others the opportunity to see the various creative results of each project.
