Lyric Theatre presents the documentary "Stray" with showtimes starting on Friday, March 26, 2021 through Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

"Stray" is a 2020 documentary that is not rated. The film is written and directed by Elizabeth Lo.

Film Synopsis: The world of Zeytin, a stray dog living life on the streets of Istanbul. Stray explores what it means to live as a being without status or security, following three strays as they embark on inconspicuous journeys through Turkish society. Zeytin, fiercely independent, embarks on adventures through the city at night; Nazar, nurturing and protective, easily befriends the humans around her; while Kartal, a shy puppy living on the outskirts of a construction site, finds companions in the security guards who care for her. The strays' disparate lives intersect when they each form intimate bonds with a group of young Syrians with whom they share the streets.

The cost is $7.00 for the general public on Friday, Saturday and evening shows. For the Sunday matinee, Monday showtimes and Tuesday showtime, the cost is $6.00 for the general public.

Notes for Patrons:
• All patrons will be required to wear masks. You may remove your mask to enjoy your concessions once you are safely seated in the auditorium.

• Theatre occupancy will be limited to 25% of capacity.

• All seats are now general admission.

• A minimum of six feet of separation between persons will be carefully maintained in the lobby as well as in the auditorium.

• Hand sanitizer will be readily available for both staff and patrons.

• Tuesday evening will be reserved for high-risk individuals only. We kindly request that you avoid this show if you have not been vigilant in maintaining Covid-19 safe practices.

• There will be only one show each night in addition to a 3:00 pm matinee on Sunday and 10:00 am matinee on Monday.

Note: The screening of "Stray" was delayed for one week from it's originally scheduled screening.
