The Town of Blacksburg and the Mount Tabor Ruritan Club present the 34th Annual July 4th Parade with the theme "Thanking Medical Personnel & First Responders" on Monday, July 4, 2022 in downtown Blacksburg, Virginia starting at 2:00 pm.

Enjoy floats, bicycles, wagons, marchers, walkers, antique and classic cars, race cars, horses, fire engines, scouts, bands, sports teams and more in the annual Blacksburg 4th of July Parade.

This year's theme is "Thanking Medical Personnel & First Responders", in recognition of their tireless work and sacrifice over the past two years.

The parade route begins at the old Blacksburg Middle School property at the corner of Eheart and South Main Streets and continues along Main Street ending at Alumni Mall near Virginia Tech's Drillfield.

The parade starts at 2:00 pm and the line-up begins at 1:30 pm.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Beginning at 6:00 PM, the Blacksburg Parks & Rec Department will have music, food and entertainment near the Blacksburg Recreation Center ending with fireworks around 9:30 PM.
