Description:
The New River Valley Sheep & Goat Club concludes their Felting Classes at Merc Farms in Thee Draper Village on Friday, August 19, 2022.

Join us for some summer felting fun!

As we begin to look forward to Fall weather, we will be making an adorable free-standing Fall colored tree. This will be a 3-d project, the tree stands by itself, and perhaps you've attended previous classes, and have a small sheep or goat to put underneath it to display. This has very pretty Fall colors and will be a lot of fun to make so come join us!

This class is $20.00 for Club members and $25.00 for non-club-members.

The mission of the New River Valley Sheep & Goat club is to support and promote the sheep and goat agri-business throughout the region and provide education and appreciation of these breeds for the benefit of club members and the general public. As farmers, members are stewards of the land and believe it is important to raise healthy animals in a manner that improves their land, the community and the environment. The club welcomes all aspects of the sheep and goat breeds.

The New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club has over 200 member farms, and over 500 members, throughout the New River Valley as well as West Virginia and North Carolina.
