The New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club presents the 2nd Annual Greatest of All Time Sheep and Goat Festival on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Thee Draper Village on the Farm in Draper, VA.

Join us for this 2nd Annual fun, family event! Learn all about the sheep and goat agribusiness in the New River Valley and Southwest Virginia with over 30 different breeds on hand while enjoying a day in the beautiful countryside.

Whether you take in our live breed exhibition tents, purchase artisan products produced by our Club Members, visit the children's petting zoo or play in the straw bale maze, paint a pumpkin or work with arts and crafts, experience a working dog competition or catch a shearing demo, enjoy the story telling time featuring "Three Billy Goats Gruff" with story times at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM & 2:30 PM and books to take home, self serve photo booth, or maybe you just want to sit and listen to live music throughout the day and have something delicious to eat at our multiple food stations, there is something here for everyone that is both fun and educational.

This community event is free and open to the public.

Please remember there are no dogs allowed due to the valuable livestock and working dogs that will be at the event.

The mission of the New River Valley Sheep & Goat club is to support and promote the sheep and goat agri-business throughout the region and provide education and appreciation of these breeds for the benefit of club members and the general public. As farmers, members are stewards of the land and believe it is important to raise healthy animals in a manner that improves their land, the community and the environment. The club welcomes all aspects of the sheep and goat breeds.

The New River Valley Sheep and Goat Club has over 200 member farms, and over 500 members, throughout the New River Valley as well as West Virginia and North Carolina.
